Deus Ex, developed by Ian Storm and released on June 23rd, 2000, was pictured around the New York Skyline. The issue was that the game had forgotten to add the Twin Towers in the skyline and to cover the mistake, they claimed that the towers had been destroyed by a terrorist attack in the video game. Little did they know their claim would come true just about 1 year after their announcement on September 11, 2001.
